The Glen Grant Eternal is a unique Single Malt, distilled in 1948 and matured for 77 years in a European Oak Sherry Butt. The oldest whisky ever released by the distillery, Eternal is a tribute to James Grant, the great innovator of Glen Grant – known affectionately as the Major. A Victorian adventurer, the Major was also a keen botanist and plant collector, resulting in a garden at Glen Grant which remains the greatest of any distillery. Eternal, much like its predecessor the Visionary, reflects the Major’s love of plant collecting and discovery, with a decanter designed to resemble a developing seed pod. The 1.5ltr mouth-blown glass decanter is suspended within sterling silver spines, with malachite inserts in both the base and stopper.
